MORE Than just a chair

We loan recliner lift chairs, free of charge in the Greater Kansas City area, to breast cancer patients to aid in their post-surgery recovery.  Each chair is sponsored by an organization or individual, named in honor of a loved one.  Each chair travels with a journal that travels with the chair.  Recipients are encouraged to read the stories of strength and struggle from the women who've sat in the chair before them, and are encouraged to write their own stories that will be read by future recipients of that chair.
